Even while enjoying his retirement, Dr. Saad Saad continues to be concern about children’s health and offers the following helpful advice to mothers: the meals consumed should follow healthy diet guidelines, alcohol consumption should only be done in moderation, exercise should be done several times a week, and cigarette smoking should not be done at all.
Dr. Saad Saad further advises in favor of breastfeeding infants and making sure that they get enough sleep. Dr. Saad Saad also urges for a heighten vigilance regarding two illnesses that could be extremely dangerous to infants.

His first patented medical invention is a detectable catheter that has two wires and a coil with magnetically permeable material located on one of its tip so that its exact location may be ascertain by an external locating device.
When the doctor sweeps the patient’s body with a locating hand-held device, this device lights up when it is perpendicular to the tip of the catheter. This detectable catheter offers the benefit of eliminating the need for the use of X-rays and MRI machines in locating the location of inserted catheters.
Due to production cost, however, Dr. Saad Saad’s detectable catheter is currently not being mass produced. His second patented medical invention is an endoscope with a built-in suction and irrigation function to remedy the procedural nuisance of endoscopes becoming fogged-up by bodily fluids during medical procedures.
Bodily fluids that fogs-up the endoscopes are sucked up and the device is irrigated to clear up visibility. Dr. Saad Saad’s endoscope is so functional that it has been widely accepted, mass produced, and utilized by doctors around the globe.
Dr. Saad Saad was born in Palestine sometime in the late 1940’s, but his residence in his country of birth was short-lived once the state of Israel came into existence. Dr. Saad Saad and his family were forced to relocate to Kuwait and became Palestinian refugees.
Dr. Saad Saad obtained his medical degree from Cairo University, Egypt’s prestigious medical school. Prior to enjoying life as a retiree, Dr. Saad Saad was the co-director and surgeon-in-chief at K Hovnanian Children Hospital.
