Orange Coast College recently made headlines on Inspirery.com’s website. The article was about the recent renovations and new construction projects that are taking place on the campus.
The article also briefly discussed a very generous donation that one of the school’s former teachers recently gifted to the school. The gift was designated to the school’s new planetarium.
Orange College is one of the oldest community colleges in the state of California. In fact, it is one of the oldest community colleges in the nation. The school was originally built in 1947 and opened its doors to students in 1948. It is also ranked as one of the biggest colleges with over 20,000 students enrolled during any given semester.

These teams have won numerous awards and championships over the past 30 years. The school also offers students a variety of clubs they can also participate in.
For the past decade, or so, the school has been working on updating the campus with state of the art technology and better equipped buildings. The campus has already received a new library and center for mathematics, computer, and business studies.
Several of the historic buildings have also been renovated, including the student center, Watson Hall, and the Lewis Science Building. The campus also had its very own Starbucks built on the campus.
Orange Coast College is a beautiful college campus located in Southern California. It is located about 40 miles south of Los Angeles. The campus is situated on 164 acres and is a beautiful mix of modern architecture and historical buildings as well.
